2020 Core Bullet Journal Spreads
My laptop is finally fixed and I can actually post again?! I've spent the last few weeks focusing on finishing my core pages in my bullet journal instead of posting on here or spending hours browsing recipes on pinterest. Maybe it was for the best I had a break. Anyway, my core pages in my bullet journal are the ones I'll use all year round - calendars, book trackers, film trackers, savings reminders etc. This year I'm still using a few bits leftover from 2019's core pages, so it's a pretty concise set up.
First things first: a transition page. This is one of my favourite things I did switching from 2018 to 2019 and I brought it back with a bit of a 1920s themed twist for this year. I've included all of my favourite parts and highlights of last year on the left hand side, with the right hand blank for everything to come in 2020.
Then I've got a calendar for 2020 with my first foray into using card/paper inside my journal. I'm not a massive fan of how it turned out, but you live and you learn (and this was attempt number 2 at putting my idea of how I wanted it to look to paper).
This is my favourite spread I've done so far this year. Last year's book tracker was one of the most intricate spreads I've ever included, but I love the simplicity of this. Whenever I finish a book this year I'm adding the title to the spine of one of these to make my very own visual bookshelf of all my read books. I'm not sure yet on whether I'll keep it black and white or colour the books in as I complete them, but either way I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing lots of the shelves full up by the end of December.
And the last set up I've included this year is a film/TV tracker. I'm going to include the series and a star rating for the TV side of things. I'm hoping it's going to make me chill out a bit more and spend time actually watching films. Going to the cinema as a full on 'I just got paid' treat is one of my favourite things to do, but I really don't go enough and want to change that in 2020!
What would be in your yearly set up?
