Do I need to be rich to be a successful blogger?

Do I have to be rich to be a successful blogger? Nourish ME: www.nourishmeblog.co.uk

This is a question that really has been bothering me for quite some time now. It's also something that I've attempted to answer over and over again, with virtual scrawls over half of each draft. Sometimes it comes out more angry, sometimes it's more hopeful, but I've finally decided to sit down and put my pen to paper (sort of) and share my thoughts.

My Instagram feed is regularly full of Jo Malone perfumes, throwbacks to last summer's Santorini trip, Diptyque candles, and enough 'only worn once' clothes to fill a boat. But what if you simply can't afford to engage in any of that? Does it make you fall behind in the blogging world because you don't have the money to compete? I think the brutal answer - and the one that I've tried to avoid realising - is yes.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Snapshot Review

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser review. Nourish ME: www.nourishmeblog.co.uk
I know there are about 3 billion reviews of this lil' beauty piece on the Internet because it's just so damn fabulous. But there's always room for one more, right? I'm going to (try to) keep this short and sweet, as I'm sure that somewhere along the line you'll have already heard someone raving about this.

January favourites and life update

January favourites and life update. Nourish ME: www.nourishmeblog.co.uk

January is finally over, and good riddance! It really is(/was) a dismal month, am I right? I kicked off January feeling really rubbish about everything. I had a massive mental health dip and it was making me a little concerned about what my 2017 was going to be like. But, I overcame it, and I'm super proud. This month last year was the month when everything got on top of me; I quit my job and stayed out of work for six months. I just couldn't handle going back into work again. So to be able to defeat my negative thoughts and go to all of my shifts felt wonderful.

I also had my first session of emotional counselling, which you can read about here. I had my second one today, and both have been genuinely helpful in tackling some of the issues I have. They've really helped me to be more proactive, meaning that today I managed to sort out both my travel insurance and pet boarding for the bunny for when I go to America in April (eeeek).
