11 books I want to buy this Spring

11 books I want to buy this Spring

Today I'm living vicariously through this post because I'm on a bit of a self-induced book buying ban due to 'the big move' (which is happening in less than two weeks, and we still haven't found a new place to move into yet, but IT'S FINE). My TBR pile is basically my entire bookshelf at this point, but there are some really great books out there that I NEED to get my hands on.

1.) The Book of Dust by Philip Pullman. I almost wept when I saw that this was being priced at £20 when it first came out, but the cover is beautiful and I need to find out what's being added to His Dark Materials after all this time.

2.) Into the Water by Paula Hawkins. The Girl on the Train was fab and I can't wait to see what else this author has to offer.

3.) I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai. I've wanted to read this for years but I haven't got my hands on a copy yet. I cannot wait to hear everything from Malala's perspective and absolutely be inspired.

4.) Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon. This is a first-hand-perspective style book all about OCD, and I've wanted to pluck it off the shelves of W H Smiths for months now.

5.) I Have Lost my Way by Gayle Forman. This is a new release for last month, and as I loved I Was Here by the same author, this looks set to be fab.

6.) From Twinkle, With Love by Sandyha Menon. When Dimple Met Rishi is one of the best books I've read in the last year. Menon's writing is incredible, and this book sounds like it'll be another hit.

7.) Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. This has been all over the 'gram, which apparently for me now is a reason in itself to buy something.

8.) They Both Die at The End by Adam Silvera. That title has had me guessing for months now, and I think I need this in my life.

9.) How to Stop Time by Matt Haig. This book has been on everyone's lips recently, and the cover's beautiful so I *need* it.

10.) The Sun and her flowers by Rupi Kaur. The first and only book of poetry that's going to feature on this list. 'Milk and Honey' is something I turn to when I really want to feel things, and I'm so happy that Kaur's got another book full of her poems out.

11.) Doing It by Hannah Witton. Hannah's one of my favourite Youtubers, and her book that gets down to the real nitty gritty of sex ed in an accessible way is something that I think is so important.

  1. I really need to get back into reading. Even since uni I've fallen out of that habit but I definitely need to jump back into the bandwagon. These books sounds awesome, I'll be checking them out.
