Looking at the bigger picture with my 'Me' Journal
Art journaling is something that's great for my mental health, so naturally it's something that I rarely get around to doing. BUT, when I do, it always makes me feel a little chirpier, and adds that extra bit of pep to my step.
The 'Me Journal' is the most recent addition to my collection, as well as the most colourful. As it says on the tin, it's all about tapping into who you are, and helps you to do so in a creative way.
I'm someone that always needs prompts to think about the bigger picture, because I'm endlessly focused on all the tiny aspects of each day. Some of the pages of the book seem obvious, but I've never considered sitting down to think about what an overview of my morning or evening routine would look like. It's these kind of things that can help you to pinpoint where things are going wrong, or what's working.
This journal is one that I'm excited to work my way through more as the year progresses, and I'm hoping it will continue to help me look at my life in a more analytic way, to keep tabs on what I'm doing, rather than just thinking as far ahead as what I'm having for dinner.
