Why does going to work and then maybe writing a blog post afterwards tire me out? Why can't I be on the ball 6am to 10pm creating content and being ~productive~?! I've finally come to realise that it's because I shouldn't be. I shouldn't feel as though I have to be endlessly productive, but I've got more on a post on that here.

I honestly feel the exact same! I'm always like I must do this and I must be doing that all the damn time x

I really think that there's so much pressure piled on to all of us all the time that a lot of us feel the same! Sending love

I feel you, it's exhausting to feel like that too! Even if you're not doing what you consider to be productive you have to remember even when you're only watching or reading something you're still expanding your knowledge and working on yourself! x

It really is, pushing myself too hard has absolutely worn me out. That's so true!

I completely get how you feel. I often wonder how on earth people manage to work full-time, post new blog posts regularly, have a clean home, cook, exercise, etc etc. I get home from work and I'm like maaaan I'm tired, but sorta feel bad if I just sit and chill rather than getting on with something else.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fellow Jane The Virgin fan - absolutely LOVE it! How far along are you?

I really admire the people that can do it, but I just know now that I can't! I'm only on the first season, but it's great so far

I can relate to this as well. I always feel guilty for taking too many break on ONE project while there are other people who can do 10x times as much in one day. ♥

I's really hard not to, and as much as I love social media I definitely think it makes it harder not to compare yourself

Great idea! I think we all feel this pressure to be always on, always being productive and doing something worthwhile with our time. But we all need time to just do nothing and completely relax. Hope it helped. x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
ReplyDeleteThere really is a lot of pressure to do so, and it's just not okay, and I think it's so important to recognise that down time is necessary
