Massive LUSH Easter and Spring products haul

Massive LUSH Easter and Spring products haul

LUSH really has gone all out for Easter this year haven't they? I always felt as though their Spring/Easter range was lacking a little, but there are so many new products this time around that I hardly know where to start.

I am a BIG fan of Easter. Fish and chips on Good Friday, two bank holidays and all the chocolate you could possibly want makes me a happy bunny. Plus it means that Spring is officially here, and if you've read my recent blog post on it, you'll know how happy I am about that! A whole new collection of LUSH stuff is just making me even cheerier right now.

I haven't separated these photos out into different types of products really, so I'm just going to get stuck in with the three egg-like bath bombs you can see. Also, I am SO glad I hoarded that little collection of pom pom sheep because I finally found a use for them.

First up, let's talk about the Golden Egg. This is something I've bought every year for the last three or for years, and I love it. It's the glitteriest thing LUSH sell, and somehow that stuff gets absolutely everywhere but oh my word it smells amazing. I'm not sure how they do it, but this stuff smells just like toffees, and combined with leaving a little hint of glitter on your skin post-bath, it just makes me feel v self confident. I smell good and I sparkle, I mean, what more could you want?

Next up are Free Rangers (the one with the chicken head) and Which Came First?. These are a bit more expensive than your average LUSH bath bomb, but the idea is that you can split them into a couple of uses, so they work out to be fairly reasonable. Free Rangers comes in three colours, and smells quite a bit like Fizzers (which FYI are still fab sweets). It comes already split into two parts, whilst What Came First is an egg with a little surprise inside. I've not had one of these before, and I can't wait to see what's in it. Aka no spoilers please.

Moving away from eggs, next up is Bunch of Carrots. I was gifted these for Easter a couple of years ago and got so many uses out of them that I HAD to repurchase. They're full of lemon and bergamot, making them smell refreshing without it being that zingy burst of citrus that I'm really not a fan of.

I've not tried any of these before and oh my god I am EXCITED. Just before we get cracking on the stuff that I actually remembered to photograph, Poisson D'Avril is the big red fishy bubble bar in the top picture. It's filled with cinnamon and neroli oil, so smells heavenly and I'm *pretty* sure it's a new one this year.

As it turns out, we weren't done with the eggs. LUSH really honed in on that this year. The Cream Egg marbled bubbleroon is MINT. CHOCOLATE. SCENTED. Can we just? I mean, this is the dream right? It smells quiet spearminty to me, and it's so pretty. I am ready to crumble this up into my bath this evening.

April Showers is probably my favourite bath bomb of the lot in terms of looks because if I could design a bath bomb it'd look something like this. Plus it reminds me of the 'drip drip drop little April showers' song from Bambi. It's filled with cedarwood and has quite a subtle musky scent.

My favourite Spring aesthetic is little baby animals. We obsess over bunnies, chickens and lambs at this time of year and I am HERE for it. Although, just FYI I've got a post on why you should think carefully about buying a bunny, and shouldn't do it just for Easter.

LUSH have come through on this with their Baa bar bubble bar, which filled with lavender, tonka and ylang ylang and I am here for it. I can't wait to fill my bath with lavender-y bubbles on a stressful day and sink in to relax. They've also got a brand new bunny-themed shampoo bar called Wash Behind Your Ears. This is filled with lemon to keep your hair healthy and cider vinegar to balance your scalp out. I've really been struggling with dandruff recently so I am READY to give this a whirl!

What are your favourite bits from the new range?
