I was petrified that starting a 9-5 job would make me feel this on a horrific level, as I have done in the past, but I'm not struggling *too* much at the moment, so I thought I'd share today what I've changed to help things get better. Sunday nights used to be a time for tears, both when I was at school and when I'd worked Mon-Friday 'normal' hours jobs. I find it upsetting to even think back on, let alone be in that place again, and whilst I find the feeling creeping in a little now and again, I really feel for everyone that's truly suffering with it at the moment.

I always have that feeling of dread on Sunday evenings and no amount of pampering can relieve it to be honest. Though I think your tips are going to help me next week xxx

These are some really great tips - thanks for sharing! I find I'm at my most anxious on Sunday night, which makes no sense really as I work from home on Monday. So it's not even like I have to worry about getting up, dressed and commuting in to the office. It's just that dreaded feeling of the week starting up again, I think. I don't know. Anyway, I'll definitely be utilising these tips this weekend to hopefully beat that Sunday night feeling! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
ReplyDeleteEven though Sundays used to be midweek for me working at a restaurant I still felt a bit similar - I think it is that idea of another week gone, and another one starting. I hope the tips helped!

What a wonderful idea spraying your clothes with linen spray!
ReplyDeleteI have never thought to do that but I'm for sure going to be doing this in the future.
A lavender smell would also be a perfect sent to get me feeling calm before a lecture or a day in the library!
