10 Reasons Why I'm Excited for Spring

It has felt *almost* Spring-like this past week, hasn't it?! We've had clear blue skies, I've spied some snowdrops starting to pop their heads up, and it hasn't been bitingly cold. I'm so SO excited for Spring this year - the start of 2018 has been so hard for me, and I really feel as though the new season is going to help things get a lot easier. So, here are all the reasons why I'm excited for Spring (eeeek):
1.) Tulips are back. These are my fave flowers because 1.) They're cheap (in Springtime) and 2.) They're so pretty. I've got my first tulips of the year in the house at the moment and they make me so happy to look at.
2.) Fields are full of baby lambs. I'm still wanting to live out that childhood fantasy of bottle-feeding a lamb, but for now seeing them bob about with their mothers is just too cute.
3.) Clear blue skies. I sit next to a massive window at work and it's just so much nicer to look out onto nice weather.
4.) I'll enjoy the walk to work. It takes me a solid 25 mins to walk to work, and it's miserable when it's absolutely pissing it down. I cannot wait to walk without getting into work rosy cheeked or drenched.
5.) Lighter evenings/mornings. The light has started to creep back into our lives and oh my god I am HERE for it. I'm such a night owl when it comes to work/being productive, and it being dark just makes me want to switch off earlier than I should.
6.) I can hang washing outside again. I said it. Adulting to the max here.
7.) I'm moving house in Spring! We're staying in the same town, just relocating to a different place, and I'm excited to find a new place to live.
8.) Mini eggs, easter eggs, easter nest cakes, hot cross buns: all the tasty foods are back.
9.) Warmer weather, aka being able to wear fewer layers again.
10.) Feeling more positive again. I've found this winter so tough, and I've realised just how much my mood is improved by sunny days. Spring I am ready for you.
